What would it be like to experience individual counseling, couples therapy, or family therapy where you weren't just some diagnosis? Or broken? Or "crazy"? Wouldn't it be a relief to just be human? A human who struggles like the rest of us humans? Who gets stuck sometimes and nothing you try seems to make things better?
At M&A Counseling, we work to create a safe space for you to make sense of things. That's because we believe, if we can just slow things down a bit, get a little clearer on your dilemma, you can begin to see the adaptive patterns that are keeping you stuck. Then you can begin to connect in ways you never knew possible - with yourself and with your people.
So, whether you're an individual, couple, or a whole family, we'd love to help you learn to feel - better.

Jeff is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) who is currently accepting new BlueCross BlueShield, Health Advantage, Ambetter, QualChoice, and Self-Pay clients. He offers individual counseling, couples therapy, and family therapy for people experiencing anxiety, depression, and other life struggles.
He received his Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from John Brown University and is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an attachment-based, experiential model of therapy that research has proven to be "the gold standard" for evidence-based psychotherapy.
Jeff works to help people make sense of problems in the context of their relational world. People find all kinds of ways to survive the pain they experience from others. And those strategies work - until they don't. Jeff believes that the greatest way he can help clients is by providing a safe place to process what they have learned to avoid. The only way out is through. Because unprocessed pain limits our life options, limits our behavioral choices, and limits our body's responses. Which gets us stuck in negative cycles that can lead to debilitating anxiety and dark depression.
